EU-Mercosur relations

The referral of the EU-Mercosur agreement to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) has created a significant legal and political "freeze".

The deal establishes one of the world's largest free-trade zones, covering more than 700 million people and a combined GDP of over $21 trillion.
